Checking the timeline
Checking the samples
As the above timeline suggest I've been checking the samples and can say with much relief that they look absolutely great! Due to the larger size there are no longer any meaningful defects and any slight variations that I detected in either coating or paint will be picked out by the 100% quality inspection that the manufacturer will perform during production.
Checking the mails
Besides samples I've also been looking at, and replying to, hundreds of mails, messages, and comments from all of you. It took me a lot of time to go through them all, so I appreciated your patience and understanding of the challenges the project was facing. At this moment I've completed them all, so if you believe that you didn't get a reply yet please resend your message.
Checking the purchasing agent contract
In accordance with the next steps for July I've already been chatting with the purchasing agent to make sure our contract for their services is up to date. I've given my formal agreement to their offer today and they will remain to play an important role during order placement and quality control. With their expertise and their own personal close to the manufacturer they will personally inspect a sample of dice right when/after they've been made. How I'd wish I could just be there and see it for myself!
Pledge Manager
Most of you have already filled out your PledgeBox surveys again. (Thank you!) This gives me more exact numbers for each dice style to order. The PledgeBox survey lock will be extended to July 16th - this should grant anyone that missed the previous messages a little bit more time. Before the dice will be shipped I'll send out a reminder for everyone to check their address information via mail/Kickstarter. For anything else you can contact me at info@lenpolygon.com
Short Break
For the next two weeks I will be taking some time off for myself. It's been a very busy month and it's time to relax a little. Don't worry, the contact with the purchasing agent and the manufacturer will remain the focus, but I won't be replying as fast as normally to all the other messages to give my batteries some time to recharge. Speaking of recharging and relaxing; what are some ways you like to recharge your batteries or relax a little?
