It's time for another update. I don't have any additional news this time due to my contact at the manufacturer only just returning from the Chinese New Year holiday. I'll summarize the status from the last post:
Project Status & Expectations
Samples
The metal samples look good, but there's a small issue on opposite #9 and #12 d20-faces indicating a mold issue. I reported this to the manufacturer, and they shouldn't have trouble fixing it. The plastic samples had issues, but I still hope for success. I requested metal samples with plastic color schemes as a backup. Glow-In-The-Dark is not possible for metal dice.
Pre-Order store plastic versions
After the Kickstarter, I opened a pre-order store on lenpolygon.com for dUltimate dice, including both metal and plastic versions. However, due to uncertainty with plastic, I disabled pre-ordering them as my framework can't change orders. Once I receive a positive response from the manufacturer with plastic samples, I will re-enable them on the store.
Reason for delay in communication
Communication has been delayed due to two reasons: slower replies from the manufacturer, likely due to Lunar New Year celebrations, and my personal health. However, the dUltimate dice project will still move forward without delays. Replies to emails, messages, and comments may be delayed but not forgotten.
Pledge Manager
You can still make changes to your address information yourself by going back to the PledgeBox link in your mailbox. Before the dice will be shipped I'll send out a reminder for everyone to check their address information via mail & Kickstarter. For anything else you can contact me at info@lenpolygon.com
